This is truly an amazing perennial flower. It is native in central America but performs well and returns reliably in zone 6. Reseeds freely so you will have this lovely flower in years to come. It blooms the first year from seed, and blooms non-stop from summer through fall. It is a butterfly magnet and we love the cut and dried flowers in arrangements. Best of all it is drought tolerant and thrives in hot, sunny spots.
