Stiff Goldenrod is one of the most showy goldenrods, providing a vivid splash of yellow in late season. Attracts late season butterflies, including migrating Monarchs. Non-allergenic. Tough perennial that tolerates wet to dry prairie-type habitats and even open woods. Will spread by underground rhizomes. Native to nearly every state and province east of the Rocky Mountains.
